We offer assistance to low-income older adults in our service area on a first-come, first-serve basis, depending on the availability of our resources.

Do I qualify?

To qualify, you must:

  • Be 60 years of age or older

  • Live between Poplar St. and Cesar Chavez Blvd. and 19th St. to Colorado St.

  • Earn 80% of the Average Median Income (AMI) or less per year

  • Tub to walk-in-shower conversions

  • climate control for one room in the home.

  • Locks for doors and windows

  • Security lights

  • Peepholes in doors

  • Window and door replacements

  • Minor plumbing repairs like faucets, sinks, and toilet leaks.

  • Minor electrical repairs like new switches or outlets and replacing light bulbs.

  • Clear home titles

  • Wills and Transfer on Death Deeds (ToDDs)

  • Homestead tax exemptions
